Well it’s February 29th! And even with that extra day it feels like this month has flown by. I think the lack of days made it a bit harder for me to meet my goals for this month so I came up a little bit short. Hey guys! I’ve been absent this week because I made a spontaneous trip home to Canada. My body clock is traumatized; my views of beaches and gum trees have been replaced by snow and sunsets. And the sunsets are beautiful. While this shift is sudden it is necessary. I needed to come home and get out of debt and go back to Australia with a working holiday visa. Even if I’d rather be down south right now, it feels good to do the right thing. I’ll be back there in no time.
So as January draws to a close I’d like to take a look at the progress I’ve made on the goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year.

2016 is going to mean a big change in the goals I set for myself. Why? Well I just graduated university in June, and for the last 5 years that was really all I had time to work towards. Every goal I set for myself was in some way school related. Now I have been out of school for long enough to feel a bit disoriented by the lack of solid direction. It is freeing, but also intimidating.
I’ve spent the past few months trying to pave a path for myself. I’ve been lucky enough to do this in a way that most people never could, and I am grateful for that every day.
